Ferry line Ilyichevsk-Poti continues to work as usual. Despite all political and social cataclysm caused by Georgian-Ossetian conflict ferry line Ilyichevsk-Poti has never stopped its operation. Three days of forced berthing of ferry “Greifswald” in port Poti just changed a little a schedule of regular trips. At the current time port Poti accepts ferries without delays. Situation in port is normal and there is no danger to transport or cargo. Ukrainian ferries “Geroi Shipki” and “Geroi Plevny”, Bulgarian ferries “Geroi Odessy” and “Geroi Sevastopolya” as well as Rail/Ro-Ro ferry “Greifswald” continue to work on Black Sea ferry lines according to announced schedule. By the end of August they will make another 5 trips to port Poti. Total number of rail-ferry trips between Ukraine and Georgia in this month would be 12, according to plans of transport workers.
